This work concurrently depicts the dissolution of a natural environment with the haphazard rise of the city, as shown by the water bursting out of a pipe at top and the fragmented pot shells abound. Although urban growth isn’t inherently negative, I was interested in exploring the hidden detrimental effects of poor city-planning and urbanization on communities. What was once possibly a greener, more cohesive society, is now in a state of disarray and confusion as to what it is physically and what it values.
